Clippers exhibition games: Boys vs Girls
The challenge was offered and challenge accepted.
The coach of the Cataraqui Clippers U11 Girls Competitive coach Tammy Scott-Zelt organized an afternoon of exhibition 'friendlies' between the Boys U11, Girls U11 two teams and Girls U12. The weather was very co-operative with exception to an incredibly blustery west wind that kept the play mainly in the east end of the field at Invista.
It was loads of fun for all the players who participated and there was no domination by any team. The coaches got the opportunity to assess their players in preparation for the season's opening games, happening the week of May 22nd 2014. One more set of friendlies is scheduled for Saturday May 17th, 3:30pm at Invista field. Come on down and cheer them on.
The Kingston Cataraqui Clippers is the city's largest community soccer sports club with approximately 2000 youth players from as young as 2 years old up to the Clippers' newest launch of their semi-pro team into League1 Ontario.
